A school tuition organization cannot award, restrict or reserve scholarships solely on the basis of a donor’s recommendation.
A taxpayer may not claim a tax credit if the taxpayer agrees to swap donations with another taxpayer to benefit either taxpayer’s own dependent.
Tuition Grant/Scholarship Application
Eligibility:
Awards made by ACSTO can only be used for tuition for students attending grades K-12 in a Christian private school.The student must be planning to attend K-12 by the semester following the award process. (Example: Brad will start Kindergarten in August 2011. I can send his application by the February 28, 2011 due date. If an award is granted it would arrive at his school early April to help with his fall tuition.)
Please Note: If your child is not currently attending the school named on his/her application, or has not begun the enrollment process, ACSTO cannot make an award.
Follow these instructions to MAIL or FAX a scholarship application.
1. Print an application form and a financial information form – Choose one of these formats:

2. Complete and sign the application form and financial information form.
3. Fill out one application per child.
4. Attach narrative (required) and other attachments (optional).
5. Mail or fax application, financial information form, narrative, and any other attachments directly to ACSTO. Make certain your application is post-marked by the due date.

Summer Due May 31, 2011 For Late June Distribution This application will also be considered during our fall and spring distributions.
Fall Due September 30, 2010 For Late October Distribution This is for those that have not already applied in May.

Spring Due February 29, 2012 For Late March Distribution For those that have not already applied in either May or September.
All applications expire every year on
March 31, regardless of when they are received. New applications will be available April 15.
Awards:
All scholarships awarded will be sent directly to the student's school to be applied toward his/her tuition.
